Executive Chef Will Azevedo
My culinary journey began at 13, washing dishes for a high-end catering company, inspired by my hardworking Portuguese immigrant parents. Over eight years, I advanced to sous chef, honing my skills under talented French, Italian, and Portuguese chefs in fine dining.
I later opened my own restaurants, pouring my passion into creating memorable dining experiences. After nearly a decade, burnout led me to sell my restaurants and transition to a sales role in wholesale food distribution. However, the call of the kitchen brought me back to catering in San Francisco.
The Covid-19 pandemic prompted a shift to senior living dining, where I discovered the profound impact of great food on seniors’ quality of life. Now, I dedicate my efforts to crafting meaningful dining experiences that bring comfort and joy to residents every day.
As a respected chef once said, “You learn a lot about someone when you share a meal together.”
